Well, I read forum all over the places and I seen assumption fall of here and there... So, I feel I have to clear out some of those speculation...
This Patch is more like a modified patch of Japanese server's "Revolution 8" (Apr 2011) patch. Most of the patch notes are almost identical to the Revolution 8 patch.
"Revolution 8" patch, I nicknamed as "Mt. Kunlun II" patch as this patch heavily modified and patching on Mt. Kunlun stuffs. There are new rules that modified the exist rules that we have...
Let's look some of patch notes...
Mt. Kunlun Changes:
Noble Visa - "A note with a hidden power allowing its owner to traverse the Kunlun Mountains as one wishes."
Do NOT get fooled! The maximum that you can bypass is 100 Missions. You CANNOT use this item to bypass any missions that you had not cleared yet! For example, if your highest record is Mission No. 40, then you can only go up to No. 40! If you form party, only leader consume this item BUT the leader only can choose the LOWEST bound of ALL party members that had reached. Therefore, if one of your party member never do Mt. Kunlun before, leader CANNOT use this item!
New BGM is added - For Fu Xi's and Nu Wa's Missions
Fu Xi and Nu Wa will appear rarely in the Kunlun mountains
Let's talk about Fu Xi and Nu Wa stuffs in one shot.
Fu Xi's and Nu Wa's missions are ONLY appear on missions divisible by 20 (Meaning: 20, 40, 60, 80, 100, ...) You may NOT get those missions even you already arrived to those Mission No. It's a RARE change (5% even?) to get such missions. Therefore, you may have to press "Break" several times and keep rerolling conditions in order to get such "most likehood to be" Fu Xi's or Nu Wa's Missions.
There are TWO variants for such missions... Whoever talks first is the requester for the mission.
Variant A: Defeat oppose general. [15 Min Time Limit]
If Fu Xi talks first, defeat Nu Wa. (and vice versa) Look for... "Restriction" of "Mission failure when allied general being defeated" for this variation. If you see such restriction on the list, it 100% sure that it will be Fu Xi's or Nu Wa's Mission.
Variant B: Complete Objective in time limit. [19 Min Time Limit]
Well, this is maybe a bit confusing now... but... this variant is more like luck than anything else as the conditions likehood is the same as other conditions, just being rare.
First, you have to look for... Restriction "N/A" as many as possible. Then, you have to look for... Condition only contains Capture (specific number of bases), Defeat (specific number of enemies), and Defeat (specific number of officer). If there is any other conditions, you MAY still get Fu Xi's or Nu Wa's Mission, but at lower changes.
Then if it is Fu Xi's/Nu Wa's Mission, the requester will talk about the condition you will need to do. You have 1 minute to buff up (actually less, thanks to -4 seconds for intro screen). Then, as soon as timer hit 18 minute mark, you will have to complete the mission in time frame that requester asked.
In this variant, there are 4 sub-variations, which are:
Defeat X enemies in 3 minutes. [I had got 300, 350, and 400 KO versions]
Capture Y bases in 5 minutes. [I had got 4, 5, and 6 bases versions]
Defeat ALL officers in 6 minutes. [I had got only defeat 4 officers in whole map so far]
Search Fu Xi or Nu Wa [If Fu Xi requests, you have to find Nu Wa (and vice versa)] -Thanks to KusanoChan for info of this variation of condition.
In this variant, if you failed to complete in time frame, the counter reset... *KO: KO Count reset to 0 *Capture: All captured bases return to red, but your currently capturing base WILL stay the same (like if you destroyed 3 towers, then it stay destroyed 3 towers) *Defeat Officer: All officers will be revived. *Search: Unlike other 3, you will fail only if you unable to find Fu Xi / Nu Wa in time limit...
The mission ends ONLY either you complete objective in time frame OR timer reach 0. If timer reach 0, it is the same as if you failed other missions in Mt. Kunlun, and you LOSE EVERYTHING. (Only net some Golds afterward)
Here is the best example for Variant B mission type [Mission No. 160].
The Condition: I have 3 conditions as Capture, while another one is defeat Musou General. I have 3 restrictions as "N/A" while another one is "Life is not recovered." Therefore, I have 75% change of getting mission based on "Capture." However, that does NOT yield whether it will be Fu Xi or Nu Wa related missions or not. It might as well be just regular "capture 2 bases" mission.
Preparation Period: I got lucked out. It turned out that this mission is Nu Wa's Mission (as you see Nu Wa is talking). During this short less than 1 minute period. It's only time you can spend time to buff properly. She stated that I will have to capture 6 bases in 5 minutes!
The Real Mission Started: As soon as 18 minute mark arrived, the real mission begins! I have to take 6 bases as soon as possible, within 5 minutes!
Time is Running Out... It seems that I don't make it this round. I am only on the 5th base...
The Reset: As you can see, I had failed to capture 6 bases in timeframe (5 minutes). Therefore, I have to capture 6 bases again. However, you may noticed that the state of this base is stay the same! I only have to do one more C3 to get my 1st base to count again!
Completion: I managed to capture 6 bases, at a heartbeat.... (If the 1st base I capture got reset, there is no way I can complete this in time...) As you can see, I got message that "I had obtained 'Strange Fabric!'"
... and that's how the Variant B of Fu Xi's or Nu Wa's missions flow.
Once you completed such Fu Xi's or Nu Wa's mission in any variant, you will get ONE piece of requester's fabric in RANDOMIZED fabric level. You obtain these clothes based on who is the requester. If Fu Xi talks first, you get Fu Xi's fabric. If Nu Wa's talk first, you get Nu Wa's fabric. You ONLY obtain such those fabrics IF you had completed the Fu Xi/Nu Wa's missions in Mt. Kunlun AND "Step Down" from Mt. Kunlun. If you failed any missions after you complete Fu Xi/Nu Wa's Mission... you LOSE all fabrics!
These fabric has 100% change of sewing! BUT, again... do NOT get fooled! There are 4 different level of these fabrics from +0 (only name, no number after), to +3. Higher level yield higher level armors when sew those fabrics. These fabric can sew ANY parts of armor. Meaning, if you want whole Nu Wa's set, then you need 4 pieces of Nu Wa's fabrics! You MAY NOT get +8, even you sewed with +3 fabrics! So, don't expect too much from it. (Of course, it cost ores to sew them...)
It does not matter if you complete Fu Xi/Nu Wa's mission on No. 20 or No. 200... the fabric level obtain are determined RANDOMLY. Other Changes:
Make-up can be purchased for gold from the Beautician.
Guys, this is NOT the same thing as AP Beautician. What this "Make-Up" does is just to REVERT your appearance BACK BY ONE STEP to previous appearance BEFORE the most recent usage of regular AP Beautician function! Therefore, if you never use Beautician before, you CANNOT use this neither! It's just a mere revert back to previous appearance BEFORE your most recent beautician ONLY!
The probability of consuming a material has been lowered when failing.
I am not sure if they will patch the same way as Japanese version does... But, on my main PDWari with 51 Distribution overthere... I am like literary almost always never lose items when I dye, sew, or synthesis items! It's like now I can bravely use Concentrate Dyes to my +7 or higher clothes without fear of losing one! Does the price of C. Dyes there lowered? Unfortunately, not too much, since this make more players wanted to dye their own clothes on their own too! So that keep the demand high... However, such side effects like this maybe different to this server.... (Adrastos and i where right ^^d)
Grinding can be performed on weapons of Level 4 or below that have been modified to their maximum tempering value.
This is basically removed the rule of "no modification on temper slots if you plan to grind." However, you still have to be careful on this...
If you modified the MAX tempers of R1 to R4 weapon that does NOT have the absolute default MAX temper (R1 = 12, R2 = 16, R3 = 20, R4 = 24)... you MAY lose the effect of the maximum temper's effect! For example: If you have R4 with MAX temper of 23 slots. You decided to mod MAX temper from 23 to 24. When you grind R5, the MAX temper will stay at 24! (It will NOT be 25!!!)
On the other hands, if you mod weapon on MAX temper that already had the absolute default MAX temper, then the MAX temper mod WILL carry over as is. For example: If you mod your R3 from 20 slots to 22 slots, then when grind R4 will be 26 slots, and it will also carry on to R5 with 26 slots.
Added new Items to Search Settings of Broker commands: Name & Minimum Price
Broker max price updated from 999,999 to 9,999,999
These are rules that changed the way how to search items in Broker. These rules make it so that you can search for specific clothes as well by typing cloth name. You can also set lower bound of item if you look for for expensive stuffs.
Weapons have been adjusted.
All weapons are modified based on this "Revolution 8" patch. However, there is no confirmation on whether the Advance that had also being modified with this "Revolution 8" patch in JP server will being it here. (Which are "Toughness" which now double ONLY current HP instead of recover by "Current HP + MAX HP" as of current rules here and "Scarifies" which make the HP reduction lowered and the additional stats being fixed amount.)
The balance of “Twin Maces (T. Maces)” has been adjusted.
This is based on "Diao Chan's Update" (Feb 2011 in JP server) patch, similar to the effect of "T. Sabers's Lu Xun" patch that heavily modified movesets to make such weapon more attractive to use in Confront... Increase range attack and strengthened emblems movesets, etc.
What I am more afraid on this patch is this may being more bugs, glitches, and server errors more than usual due to patching too many contents in ONE SHOT. (Similar on how the "Heavenly Strike" patch had effected on this server). I am more prefer to patch little by little constantly over a period of time over wait forever and patch like an atomic bomb....
